On July 31, 2009, Audit Committee members Joaquim Dias, Luciano Vieira and Maria Fernanda Dias de Carvalho met at the headquarters of the Instituto Desiderata to examine and approve its Financial Statements drawn up on December 31, 2008, with a reserbations-free report already presented by the BDO-Trevisan auditing firm.

From this financial year onwards, as recommended by the Committee Members, we will issue a Message from the Management together with the Financial Statements, presenting information on the accomplishments for the past year and the prospects for future achievements, offering readers an overview of the operating outcomes attained by the Instituto Desiderata.
